Description:The purpose of the event is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in isotope hydrology studies and water resource management. The course will cover basic AI concepts, application of various AI tools in hydrology and isotope hydrology and demonstrate how AI-driven models can support water management. The course will include theoretical sessions and hands-on practical exercises.
Applicants:The course is intended for hydrologists, isotope hydrologists, water resource professionals, researchers, and technical staff involved in water resources assessment and management. It is particularly suitable for participants working with hydrological and isotope datasets who are interested in applying artificial intelligence (AI) methods in their work. Participants are expected to have a basic background in hydrology or isotope hydrology and working knowledge of the R programming language, including basic data handling and scripting. Prior experience with statistical analysis, modelling, or data analysis tools is an advantage. Participants should have R/R studio installed and have own laptops.
