Description:	The purpose of the event is to introduce trainees to the practical aspects of carrying out X-ray fluorescence (XRF) studies using laboratory equipment and employing analytical techniques. The training will cover all key steps involved in XRF-based research: from sample preparation to the validation of results, including intermediate steps such as building calibration curves with reference materials, spectral deconvolution and quantitative data analysis.
Applicants:	The training is intended for laboratory scientists, technicians, and early-career researchers from Member States who are involved in material characterization, quality control, or environmental and industrial applications of XRF. The programme is particularly relevant for institutions seeking to strengthen or establish routine XRF capabilities using laboratory-based instruments.
