Description:	The purpose of the event is to present and discuss methodologies for decommissioning costing and the technical specifications and beta version of the IAEA web-based software tool to support preliminary cost estimation for the decommissioning of nuclear facilities; to share experience among Member States regarding methods and tools for decommissioning costing, focusing on Member States with limited decommissioning experience (e.g. embarking countries); and to discuss decommissioning funding schemes.
Applicants:	The designated participants should be professionals from national institutions, technical support organisations, companies and/or academia who are knowledgeable about the details of their country’s national decommissioning and radioactive waste management strategies, decommissioning plans for nuclear facilities, and willing to share their experience and lessons learned in addressing the related decommissioning costing and funding issues.
