Description:The purpose of the event is to introduce the role of noble gases in hydrology, explain key tracer concepts and their applications, provide hands-on exercises in noble gas applications, and prepare participants for the in-person advanced Part 2 training.
Applicants:The training course is open up to 20 participants. Selection priority is given to technical staff of counterparts of IAEA Technical Cooperation projects and Coordinated Research Projects currently conducting noble gas isotope analysis for groundwater dating purposes. External participants are accepted based on space availability and at their own cost. Completion of this online course is a prerequisite for participation in the in-person training normally held in Vienna in the autumn.
