Description:	The purpose of the event is to bring together national contact points for the IAEA's Database on Discharges of Radionuclides to the Atmosphere and the Aquatic Environment (DIRATA) in order to present the latest developments, including new visualization features and programme enhancements; review the current data collection cycle; and exchange experience and feedback.
Applicants:	The event is intended for officials from regulatory bodies or other organizations with responsibilities in the management and reporting of discharge data from nuclear installations. NCPs and representatives from Member States that have one or more power reactor or reprocessing facility are encouraged to attend. Member States for whom NCPs have already been designated are encouraged to attend this upcoming event. Member States that have not yet designated an NCP are encouraged to send a participant who can take on this role for the collection of discharge data going forward. Member States are strongly encouraged to identify suitable women participants.
