Popis:The purpose of the event is to facilitate expert discussions on methodologies, standards and best practices for the verification and validation of software used in nuclear power plant instrumentation and control systems. It aims to enhance the reliability, safety and regulatory compliance of software through international collaborative knowledge exchange and case study analysis. Participants will explore emerging technologies, address challenges in software assurance and share lessons learned in the development and implementation of robust verification and validation frameworks tailored to the unique demands of the nuclear industry. A key focus will be the review and critical analysis of the publication Verification and Validation of Software Related to Nuclear Power Plant Instrumentation and Control (IAEA Technical Reports Series No. 384).
Účastníci:In view of the subject of the event, participation is limited to IAEA Member States that currently operate NPPs or are constructing their first NPP units. Participation is solicited from representatives of nuclear facilities and regulatory bodies, utilities, technical support organizations, designers, developers, vendors, and research organizations engaged in the field of I&C in small, medium and large power plants. To ensure maximum effectiveness in the exchange of information, participants should be persons actively involved in the subject matter of the event.
