Popis:	The purpose of the event is to pilot the new Spent Fuel Accident Assessment and Prognosis Tool for accidents at spent fuel storage facilities.Through scenario-based exercises, participants will test the effectiveness of the tool’s approach to spent fuel accident assessments, identify keyparameters needed for these assessments, and highlight areas for further improvement. This event is designed to contribute to the developmentof the IAEA’s Spent Fuel Accident Assessment and Prognosis Tool. The tool currently under development does not, however, cover spent fuelaccidents at other fuel cycle facilities (e.g., reprocessing plants) or during transport.
Účastníci:	The event is open to up to 20 in-person and 10 virtual participants from invited Member States listed in IAEA SFM-Net1 that operate interim spent fuel storage facilities. This event is intended for experts from organizations involved in nuclear or radiological emergency response, as well as those providing technical assessment support in the event of an accident at a spent fuel storage facility.
