Popis:	The purpose of the event is to compare internationally accepted methodologies and good practices for assessing occupational radiation doses from Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), in line with the relevant IAEA Safety Standards and technical guidance, and to promote harmonization of approaches among participating Member States by enhancing participants’ understanding of occupational exposure pathways associated with industrial processes involving NORM, with particular emphasis on industries relevant to the region (e.g. mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, construction materials, and water treatment).
Účastníci:	The regional workshop is open to Regulatory Authority representatives, Radiation Protection Officers/ consultants/experts from operational NORM workplaces and representatives of the Technical Service Providers of the regional project counterparts (RER9163).
