Popis:	The purpose of the event is to review the methodologies for siting and safety assessment of small modular reactors in relation to external events based on a risk-informed, performance-based approach, with a special focus on seismic scenarios; and to present the draft IAEA Technical Document provisionally entitled SMR Design in Relation to External Events, the IAEA Safety Report entitled Application of Graded Approach for Site Evaluation of Nuclear Installations Including Small Modular Reactors, and the draft IAEA Safety Guide provisionally entitled Safety Evaluation of Nuclear Installations for External Events Excluding Earthquakes.
Účastníci:	The target audience is represented by Member States with an established nuclear programme, and countries at an advanced stage of embarking on nuclear power programmes, especially with SMR reactors. The event would like to collect the experience and feedback of all stakeholders of new nucelar programs, namely: Regulators, Utilities, TSOs and Consultants,to quarantee a multi faceted contribution and the development of useful IAEA Guidelines for all categories of stakeholders.
